"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." Steve Jobs
“Have you ever been at sea in a dense fog, when it seemed as if a tangible white darkness shut you in and the great ship, tense and anxious, groped her way toward the shore with plummet and sounding-line, and you waited with beating heart for something to happen? I was like that ship before my education began, only I was without compass or sounding line, and no way of knowing how near the harbor was. “Light! Give me light!” was the wordless cry of my soul, and the light of love shone on me in that very hour.”
Helen Keller
“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”

i totally agree. you need to love what you do in order to get a great results and if yo do not, you need to search for things that make you feel happy and satisfied.
ReplyDeletenice, as a teacher, we should like our job and be proud about what we do and don't let students to hate the job(teacher,...) if they like it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with every single word, especially to love what you work in order to succeed in it. Success is achieved when you feel comfortable and convinced in everything you do. And as you said we must keep in mind education refers to intelligence plus character.
ReplyDeleteLove the quotes you have chosen my friend. Looks like they reflect your inner thoughts and feelings.
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will become the teacher you want to become.
Good luck!
Your quotes are really deep and meaningful, a teacher should reshape the minds of the students and grow up their intelligence and characters too.
